Integrated test station for Safety and Functional Testing of an Electrical Paint Sprayer

The system incorporates Electrical Load Measurement and Airflow Measurement. The whole system is integrated within a purpose-made fixture with replaceable test pallets that allow the operator to change the connection configuration from one model of product to another.

Using the highly successful Clare Safecheck 8 appliance tester at its heart, this electrical test system has been configured to provide a selected number of tests for class 1 and class 2
power tools of multiple voltages of 110 and 230 volt AC.

The system has an integrated label printer that produces pass or fail tags which can be attached to the power cord of the equipment under test.

Dual Bay Automatic Test System for Electric Pumps

Created for a large manufacturer of electric pumps, this system incorporates 2 test bays protected by light curtains. The pump is inserted into one bay and the tests are automatically performed while the operator connects a pump into the second bay.

The test system performs an electrical safety test and checks rotation of the pump.

Tests are broadly conducted in line with EN60335-1 and BS2769.

Using the HAL hipot tester as the test engine Clare have produced a customised solution which integrates into the production line of an electricity meter manufacturing company.

The pneumatically controlled jigs position the product and the test contacts for flash testing (hipot testing) to be applied to the equipment.

The flexibility of the HAL and its controlled system means that the function of the production line can be controlled depending upon the results of the safety test.

  • The HAL tester is configured to provide high voltage testing in accordance with EN6101-1
    with the test being automatically initiated and the voltage ramping, dulling and increasing in line with the standard.

Fully automatic Test System for Fighter Aircrafts Fuel Pumping System.

HAL hipot earth bond tester is used to perform safety tests on fuel pipe systems for aircrafts 

Test System built to perform electrical safety tests on the fuel pipe system for the Euro Fighter aircraft.

The system utilises a HAL Hipot Ground Bond Tester as its testing engine and it interfaces through a switching matrix built to suit the customer's own needs. Tests are then applied to the pump/control unit which is enclosed in a purpose built safety enclosure.

The HAL system is automatic providing rapid comprehensive testing and the option of storing test results.
